We can offer a range of business number options, such as 0800, 0845 and 0870 depending on how you would like to charge your incoming calls.
What are Business Numbers?
Business Numbers fall into two main categories: non-geographic numbers and Geo-Fix. Non-geographic numbers are cloud-based numbers such as 0800, 0844, 0845 and 0871. For the caller, calls to 0800 numbers are free from a UK landline, whereas there will be a set charge for 0843, 0844, 0845 and 0871.
Geofix numbers are 01, 02 and 03 landline numbers that live in the cloud. These can give a company a virtual nationwide presence – for example a Shropshire-based company wishes to have a presence in Manchester. They simply have a 0161 number that will ‘point’ toward their 01743 number. This also has the added bonus of saving money by removing the need for installing office space or installing new lines and phone systems.
