Pure signs new Shrewsbury Town sponsorship deal

Pure Telecom, based in Shrewsbury Business Park, has agreed to sponsor the dug-outs at the Greenhous Meadow stadium for the next two years and is now the official supplier of mobile phones to the club.

Matt Sandford, managing director of Pure, which provides mobile and fixed telecom solutions for businesses throughout Shropshire and surrounding counties, said that as a keen sports enthusiast he was pleased to support Shrewsbury Town.

“We are delighted with the success that the club has enjoyed this season and have followed the team’s progress with interest, attending as many games as possible with staff and clients,” he said.

Commercial development manager at Shrewsbury Town, Richard, Hill, stressed that the new partnership was set to have a range of benefits for everyone involved.

He commented: “One of my philosophies wherever I have done business in football is to forge as many close links with successful local companies as possible.

“Matt is very enthusiastic about the opportunities of promoting his company by using the club as a unique platform to get his brand out into the wider community.

“The level of professionalism and attention to detail shown by Matt and his company inspired us to use them as a preferred supplier of telecommunication products for Shrewsbury Town FC.”

Pure Telecom promotes Priority Moments

A Shropshire telecoms specialist is urging county businesses to take advantage of one of the UKs leading mobile phone promotions.

Pure Telecom, based in Shrewsbury Business Park, says that O2’s Priority Moments deal could give a major boost to small retailers.

“Many business owners in the county may not realise that they can register for Priority Moments, which is an incredibly successful way of increasing customer numbers and raising awareness of their brand,” said Matt Sandford, managing director of Pure Telecom.

“They do not have to be 02 customers and can register their business as long as they have no more than five retail outlets,” he explained.

Shop owners can offer discounts to any O2 mobile user with the Moments app installed. The O2 mobile user can then search their area for discounts available on a given day.

Matt added: “In these days of tough trading on the High Street we believe that savvy retailers should use every available tool to help boost business. It could be that they only offer a free coffee or small discount but it all helps to improve their profile and increase footfall.

“Priority Moments has to be one of the most widely-advertised promotions in the UK and has enjoyed incredible success.

“We would use any small retailer to sign up for it as soon as possible and our team of telecoms experts are happy to give advice if anyone feels they need a bit of support.”

Pure Telecom is an award-winning independent ‘total communications’ specialist, providing mobile and fixed telecom solutions for businesses across Shropshire and surrounding counties.
